We at Grand Prix Journal had the incredible opportunity to attend the 2024 Formula E Portland E-Prix with the Jaguar TCS Racing team. As part of the program, we took part in exclusive round table interviews with drivers Mitch Evans and Nick Cassidy, along with Team Principal James Barclay.

In this interview, we delved into various aspects of Formula E, including its growth, innovative technology, success and unique characteristics. We also explored topics like female representation in the sport and the highly anticipated debut of the Gen 3 Evo car in Season 11.

Barclay, Evans, and Cassidy provided valuable insights into Jaguar’s pivotal role in Formula E, emphasizing the team’s dedication to innovation and inspiration.

Additionally, each driver shared their personal perspective on the challenges and rewards of competing in Formula E, offering a comprehensive view of the racing experience in this dynamic series.

Dominating the Championship

Jaguar TCS Racing is leading the Teams’ World Championship with a solid 33-point advantage. As the season nears its end, the team prepares for the London finale on July 20-21.

The team also dedicates itself to supporting Nick Cassidy and Mitch Evans in achieving individual success.

Portland’s Mixed Results

The race in Portland brought a mix of highs and lows for Jaguar. While earlier rounds saw impressive pole positions and podium finishes, the team faced significant challenges in the States.
