The luxury automaker announced the upcoming launch of Genesis Design California, a creative studio set to open in El Segundo during the first quarter of 2025. The announcement, made at an exclusive Los Angeles event on Nov. 19, comes just in time for Genesis to celebrate its 10th anniversary next year.
“This is a pivotal moment for Genesis as a leader in automotive design,” said Luc Donckerwolke, Chief Creative Officer of Genesis. “The climate, cultural arts, and automotive scene in Los Angeles offered us the possibility to create a dynamic and attractive work experience by integrating nature and light into the work and creative spaces.”

Genesis Design California will be no ordinary workspace. Spanning 80,000 square feet, the facility is designed to inspire creativity and calm. From lush outdoor spaces inspired by traditional Korean gardens to bright, airy interiors filled with natural light, every inch of the studio reflects Genesis’s dedication to blending art and innovation.
Team members—45 of them, to be exact—will enjoy access to spaces tailored for collaboration and focus, including:
