McLaren unveils their 2024 livery

McLaren reveals their 2024 Formula 1 livery, blending iconic colors, fan-favorite elements and a touch of chrome.

A Dazzling Blend of Colors

The McLaren Formula 1 Team promises to be a showstopper on the upcoming Formula 1 World Championship season. Inspired by their rich heritage, the team brings together the beloved papaya and anthracite colors in a striking fusion that captivates fans and pays homage to McLaren’s iconic status in F1.

A Nod to Fan Favorites

Building on the success of the 2023 season, the new livery incorporates fan-favorite elements from the Stealth Mode design, a nod to OKX’s livery enhancements. The iconic use of chrome in the driver numbers, reminiscent of McLaren’s historical era from 2006 to 2014, adds a touch of nostalgia and excitement to the mix.

Partnerships and Prestige

The livery is not just a canvas of colors – it proudly displays the logos of some of the world’s biggest brands and organizations, reaffirming the valuable partnerships that support McLaren on and off the track. This collaboration enhances the visual appeal of the car while symbolizing McLaren’s continued commitment to excellence.

Excitement in the Driver Line-Up

With one of the most exciting driver line-ups on the grid, McLaren enters the 2024 season with Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri. The duo aims to build on the strong momentum from the previous season, boasting nine podiums, a Sprint win and a world record pit stop time of 1.8 seconds.

Key Team Appointments

Under the leadership of Team Principal Andrea Stella, McLaren reinforces its technical prowess with key appointments. New arrivals Rob Marshall and David Sanchez bring fresh expertise to the Technical Executive team, ensuring McLaren remains at the forefront of F1 innovation.

Countdown to the MCL38 Reveal

The anticipation builds as McLaren prepares to unveil their 2024 challenger, the MCL38, on February 14. Following the reveal, the team and the rest of the grid head to pre-season testing at the Bahrain International Circuit on February 21-23, gearing up for the opening race at the 2024 Bahrain Grand Prix on March 2.

Zak Brown

“I’m confident the exciting pairing of Lando and Oscar will continue to create more mega memories together after such an impressive second half of last year which saw the team finish fourth in the championship with 302 points. These are all steps forward from the year before as we continue our mission to push and compete at the front of the grid.

“We’re looking forward to achieving our ambitions and with our valuable partners and fantastic fans on board, they will play an integral part in the journey this season. We’re grateful for their continued support and know they also share our passion for success.”

Lando Norris

“I’m looking forward to the new season ahead, it will be my sixth in Formula 1 and I’m hoping to carry the momentum we gained as a team at the end of last season to hit the ground running in Bahrain. The new livery looks great with the inclusion of segments from last year’s enhancements, I’m sure the fans will love it as much as me.

Oscar Piastri

“The 2024 livery looks really cool and I’m looking forward to racing in the iconic colours of McLaren for a second season. I made some special memories with the team in my rookie year, securing two podiums and a Sprint win.

“I‘m going to work hard alongside the whole team to take those results into the start of the new season and compete well with our competitors to give the fans more memorable moments.”
